Forgot about writing a post before the end of the month, but better late than never. Over the break I focused more on my individual component. I've had to read a lot, but the different things I've been learning have been useful. During the reading I found a link that shows how money's worth has changed due to inflation throughout the years. ( http://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/cpicalc.pl ) I found it kind of interest how something that costs say $10,000 today cost $7,300 just 14 years ago, that's a 27% increase in price.
